What has Roboto published about Sanity and Contentful pricing tiers and usage limits?
Roboto has published walkthroughs of Sanity’s and Contentful’s pricing tiers and of a tool for reading Sanity request logs, and Jono has presented a session on diagnosing Vercel usage. These sources describe vendor plans and quotas as stated at each recording date. They are not Roboto project budgets, a rate card or a neutral CMS comparison.

What does the Sanity pricing walkthrough describe?
A September 2025 Roboto video goes through Sanity’s Free, Growth and Enterprise plans as listed at the time of recording. It states Growth at $15 per seat per month with up to 50 seats, permission roles, a private dataset, AI Assist and pay-as-you-go add-ons, and lists what Free lacks: content releases for scheduling, comments and tasks, AI Assist and the embeddings index. Its rule of thumb is to talk to Sanity about Enterprise once two or three of the larger add-ons, such as SSO, dedicated support or a higher quota, are needed, or seat numbers near 50.
How does it treat API quotas?
The same video contrasts Growth’s API request quota, 250,000 at the time of recording, with the larger API CDN request allowance of about one million. It says moving reads to the API CDN is a step Roboto has taken when projects approached the API request limit, and that projects set up incorrectly can exhaust quotas.
What does the Contentful pricing walkthrough describe?
An August 2026 Roboto video lists Contentful’s free tier, at the time of recording, as 10 users, two roles, two locales, 100,000 API calls a month and 50 GB of CDN bandwidth a month. It identifies content-type limits as the main constraint: 25 content types on the starter space and 50 on the lite space. Its example counts a page type plus ten page-builder blocks as 12 content types, and it advises against modelling SEO fields as a separate repeatable content type.
How has Roboto shown usage being diagnosed?
A September 2026 Roboto walkthrough of Sanity Log Analyzer downloads a project’s request logs from Sanity and produces a report of which queries, images and files account for usage. In an April 2025 Vercel community session, Jono shows Vercel usage being diagnosed with Observability and Speed Insights; the recorded example has one route with 2.3 million function invocations and a 43.8 percent error rate.
